JAMORAMA and ROCKET PIANO online courses are published by Rock Star Recipes, an internet based company located in Christchurch, New Zealand. Formed in 2003, Rock Star Recipes specialize in multi-media learn-to-play courses for musical instruments.

The Jamorama and Rocket Piano courses are developed by an in-house team of talented authors with a proven track record in successful tuition, highly experienced performers and composers in their own right.

JAMORAMA GUITAR PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Having spent the good part of the last 10 years writing, playing and touring his music in and around Australasia, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge to the Rock Star Recipes team. An impressive, yet somewhat unhealthy obsession with teaching, audio equipment and getting things right lands Ben with the role of Guitar Product Developer for the company. Ben has spent years fine tuning his ‘craft’ whether it be playing guitar, teaching or recording music. The winning combination of a vibrant personality and abstract creativity, coupled with his technical accuracy ensures Ben’s ability to create cutting edge material for RSR. In his spare time Ben enjoys a nice beer, Morris dancing and long walks on the beach. He is a special man with special talents and needs. You will NOT be disappointed.

ROCKET PIANO PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Ruth says she is slightly schizophrenic when it comes to music taste, drawing inspiration from the likes of jazz, pop, folk, glam metal, prog rock, indie rock, blues, pretty much anything that has a degree of skill behind it. Ruth is classically trained in piano, and has a Bachelor of Commercial Music. Ruth works with 8 guys, (refer to other Rock Star employees) but this does not deter her, she somehow maintains a shred of femininity and often strikes up conversations with herself about girly things…lipstick, stilettos, embroidery, tampons. Ruths 10 year plan is to take over the world. From every corner will come whispered murmurings “Ruth, Ruth, Ruth, Amazing, Marvelous, Music to Our Ears” Even if she has to travel around the world and whisper it herself.
