 I thought I would take the time to let you know that I have finally completed the Jamorama Maestro course (E-Books 1 and 2) for electric guitar.

I started the course about 6 months ago after years of mucking about with lessons at night school and various "teach yourself" books. At 38, I classed myself as a total beginner and did not have the confidence or technique to play anything, let alone in front of my family or friends. Then I came across Jamorama, signed up and never looked back.

This course is EXCELLENT. It slowly takes you through all you need to know, using easy to understand E-Books, the excellent videos and the outstanding Jam Tracks. These three elements, along with Ben's continuous motivation, easily taught me the elements required to play good guitar. Don't get me wrong, I dedicated a minimum of an hour a day for practise but it never felt like a chore. Infact, it became the highlight of my day. I have even got my neice signed up to Jamorama as well and she is close to finishing the first e-book.

Now I have finished the course, I am ready to step outside Jamorama and put my knowledge to the test. Yesterday, I found the tab for Hotel California and within 5 mins I was playing along. I was stunned at how much I had learnt. The improvement was both amazing and total, and I now feel ready to expand my knowledge even more. I only wish you had further "complete" courses to offer that would take me to the next level on this unique journey.

Overall, this has been an excellent experience and one I am extremely thankful for. At such a low cost, anyone out there looking to pick up a guitar for the first time has no need to look any further than Jamorama. I love it so much that I am going to go over the whole course again as a refresher before buying an effects pedal and taking my first tentative steps into learning Metal with Troy Stetina.
